He’s amazing at capturing objectives and destroying even the largest waves of enemies if given the chance, and is one of the best at destroying bases and surviving against a swarm of powerful foes, and is still fairly decent in most other regards, with his only lacking department being in health, but you don’t need that when you can not get attacked in the first place! His passive gives him a lot of utility, ranging from standing in a corner so that dangerous enemy won’t see you, to sneaking up to an enemy base and blowing it to smithereens, to assassinating that one enemy that’s buffing that really strong enemy. His grenades are great at taking down difficult foes, though I wouldn’t recommend it against players. His C4 is amazing at taking down enemy bases, and can be fairly decent against even the strongest enemies. His Traps can quell an enemy attack fairly easily, or can be used to bait more perceptive enemies. His Commando Strike allows him to pop out of nowhere and slash you for heavy damage, and can be a great getaway tool. Strategy is key with this hero, and if you are patient with him, your victory will be secured.ĭo you like catching your opponents in a bad spot? Do you like destroying the opponent’s base right under their nose? Do you like EXPLOSIONS? Well, Cicada is the bug for you! So when you play Cicada who will you be? Will you be the Master Tactician, patient and wise? Playing Cicada is like playing a game of chess. Planning and thinking is required to make good use of the Cicada. To many, the reliance on Cicada's passive, slow basic attacks, and traps might make him look weak, but in the hands of a master tactician, he is a formidable foe. Patience and prediction is required for you to successfully damage your enemies with your explosives, and the stealth passive must not be wasted. This makes him hard to master compared to other more simpler heroes. Playing the Cicada requires a passive gameplay style. Cicada's traps, c4 explosives and grenades all do massive damage and if executed correctly, could spell doom for the enemies. His Commando strike gives him the ability to do some nice AoE damage, and stealth him, giving him an escape or an initiation. Now you can sneak up on your enemies and unleash devastating attacks. Oh so you wanna play passive? You want to play objective control freak? Or do you want to just surprise your enemies with lots of bombs? Well then the Cicada Commando is the bug for you! Waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike, the cicada waits to lash out with a barrage of traps and basic attacks.
